The Process of Deliberate Creation
A foundation of certainty and direction leads to aligned action
I’m no longer in that place of unease and constant unrest. Existing there only ever brought confusion, a persistent feeling of being lost, and a deep sense of disconnection. From that state grows a kind of dis-ease within; the quiet, aching awareness of a gap between who you truly are and who you're trying so desperately to be.
When you live from that place, everything becomes about trying to fill that gap. You chase after people, cling to old patterns, revisit unhealed habits. But none of it satisfies. Because it's not really you who’s reaching out, it's the unrest itself. That hollow part shaped by disconnection, not by clarity or truth.
And from that place, you start making choices that don’t come from self-understanding, but from self-abandonment. You act from being lost, not from being found.
But now, I move from a place of certainty. And by certainty, I don’t mean having all the answers. I mean knowing. A deep, grounded knowing of who I truly am; my most authentic self.
That kind of knowing becomes direction. It becomes purpose. When you know yourself, you know where you’re going. And with that clarity, the how begins to reveal itself. Because aligned action naturally follows a clear direction.
When you act from this foundation, your choices begin to reflect who you truly are. Each step you take, even the smallest one, is guided by that internal compass.
Whether you're conscious of it or not, you're moving in alignment, because you’re no longer trying to become someone else. You’re simply becoming more of yourself. And that makes every action intentional. Every move purposeful. Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s true.
What parts of myself have I been abandoning in order to be accepted, understood, or loved, and how has that shaped my choices?
In what ways have I been trying to fill an internal void with external validation, people, or patterns, and what am I truly seeking beneath that chase?
If I were to act from a place of deep inner knowing, not fear or performance, what would change about how I move through the world?
